Moët Chandon house is located, for more than two centuries ago, in the heart of Champagne. With the mountain of Reims to the front and the Valley of the Marnes to the west strives since then valorize this unique land where it has about 800 hectares of vines and maintained by 250 winegrowers. One hectare requires more than 750 hours of meticulous care to create exceptional wines. Under the influence of Moët & Chandon, the Champagne vineyard has since 1927 a Denomination of Origin, which became one of the first DOC in 1935. In addition, to ensure a selection of varieties widest possible with reflect the nuances of the soil and climate of the region of Champagne, Moet & Chandon winemakers buy grapes from others. The three strains of Champagne, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay are always present, with complementarities and synergies.
